Time seemed to slow down around Nightfeather as the leaders yowled to attack, and as she ran at the enemy she unleashed her claws, her lips drawn back in a snarl of hatred. The two clans attacked each other with no mercy, and the black she-cat told herself she wouldn't let her feelings stop her from attacking with all her might. She shot towards the Thunderclan cats, narrowly escaping a large tom as he tried to attack her. She had jumped over him with incredible speed, landing lightly on all four paws. She yowled in alarm as the large Thunderclan apprentice, Emberpaw, hit her from the side, almost knocking her off of her paws. She hissed in rage and aimed her claws at the apprentice, trying to knock him off of her. She jumped away from him, and was about to jump on him when another apprentice appeared by Emberpaw's side, and Nightfeather recognized the she-cat by her pelt. Brightpaw was her name, she remembered, but now was not time for names. The small apprentice took advantage of her size by slipping under Nightfeather's legs, her claws raking her belly. The black she-cat screeched in pain and aimed her claws at the apprentice's face, trying to stun her. She backed up a couple paces and smirked, her amber eyes glowing. "It's not fair for a full-trained warrior to be attacking such tiny kits. Run back to the nursery and leave this battle to the adults!" She snarled to the apprentices, mockery in her voice.

RAVENCLAW
[/s][/b] Ravenclaw remained silent as she stood near Appleleaf and Sandclaw. Ferntail and Tigerclaw were also there with Hiddenheart and Nightfeather. It seemed like a fit patrol for a battle and admired her leaders taste in warriors. Then again, what Shadowclan cat in their right mind wouldn't admire the fierce force of the Shadowclan warriors. Only a fool would fall for such a thing. But as a monster rolled past on the thunderpath her thoughts were brought back to the reality of things in time to hear more voices. "Amazing timing, Whirlstar, amazing timing. It appears such even fox-hearted murderers such as yourselves aren't completely mouse-brained."[/s] It appeared that the Thunderclan cowards had finally arrived for their beat-down, with the leader Tigerstar at their lead, speaking nonsense as usual. However Ravenclaw held her tongue as the others shouted insults. Back and forth, it seemed endless. So she counted up their warriors. Tigerstar, Silentvoice, Patchsong, Kestrelclaw, Howlingwind and Emberpaw. They seemed somewhat evenly matched. Although it wasn't quantity, it was quality. Then again.. Before she could think anymore, the words of attack and the signal was raised. Both clans clashed in a vicious roar of hisses and yowls. Ravenclaw darted around others having not picked out someone to attack yet. Silver claws were unsheathed and digging into the ground as the she-cat walked around gracefully and avoided being hit. Her tactics remained as such until she saw the opening she had looked for. Ravenclaw dashed quickly over to Nightfeather and the two apprentices. Although it seemed the Shadowclan she-cat had it handled, Ravenclaw wasn't going to waste an opportunity to attack the enemy; even if they were but mere apprentices. They would one day be full fledged Thunderclan warriors, and it would be best to bring fear into their petty lives now so that they're less mighty come another fight another day. Without a word she barreled into the two apprentices after Nightfeather had finished her sentence, teeth bared and claws unsheathed with her eyes like yellow flames.[/ul][/blockquote]

Appleleaf and Rockettail
Appleleaf faltered back, trying to distance himself from the large tabby tom, but narrowly missing the tom's claws, feeling them slide through his red fur, clawing out tufts of red. He hissed back. "The ones who will be paying for their crimes will be Thunderclan!" Appleleaf lunged for Tigerclaw then, attempting to lock them both together in a battle of claws, his forearms grabbing for Tigerclaw's head, and attempting to nip his ear.
Rockettail, just for as he was named, rocketed toward the first Thunderclan cat within reach. But by the time he had past several cats locked in combat, he found himself staring across the Thunderpath. He smirked. Thunderclan was outnumbered. Looking back at the two clans battling, he began to search for an open opponent that he could take on all by himself. There wasn't one. Yet. Rockettail stared back out over the Thunderpath. Maybe more reinforcements would come. Or maybe he'd have to go back and help someone out. Nightfeather and Ravenclaw were battling two apprentices, so he knew they were doing alright. Coincidentally, the leaders and deputies were fighting together.
Howlingwind and Emberpaw
Howlingwind was no match for Ferntail's agility, and he had only enough time to skid to a halt by the time the Shadowclan deputy was behind him. But for some reason, the foolish she-cat thought she could try to bring him to the ground by his scruff. Howlingwind tensed up his neck muscles, trying to make it harder for Ferntail to hold on by his scruff, and twisted around just enough for him to be able to launch a heavy swiped at the she-cat's hind-quarters with his left paw, the one without the metal bands. "We want nothing to do with you Shadowclan foxes!" he spat back, his amber eyes burning with fury. He couldn't let some mangy Shadowclanner try to taunt him now. Especially not after the unforgivable crime that those Shadowclanners committed.
Emberpaw's first attack somehow worked, for he had succeeded in knocking the black she-cat from her paws, but then he found his momentum turning against him as he was knocked away from Nightfeather with a well aimed shove. But what angered him more was when Nightfeather turned her attacks to his sister, Brightpaw. After losing Mousepaw, Emberpaw was not going to let anyone hurt Brightpaw. "Get away from her!!" He yowled, charging back at Nightfeather and pouncing at her, aiming to tackle the she-cat off his sister. The tackle attack worked last time, and he only hoped that it would work again this time. Just then, another Shadowclanner, this one a fluffy, black she-cat, a little bigger and older then Nightfeather, knocked him away effortlessly. He snarled furiously, working to get the she-cat off him, kicking and clawing wildly. He had to protect Brightpaw, but now he was stuck fighting this she-cat while Brightpaw took on Nightfeather. He just hoped that reinforcements would come. It appeared that Thunderclan was out numbered, for he saw Shadowclan cats running about with out a care, with no opponent to fight.

Nightfeather hadn't expected Emberpaw to attack so fiercely when she went after the other apprentice, and quickly moved out of the way just as Ravenclaw tackled the tom. The black she-cat smirked as her clanmate effortlessly knocked away Emberpaw, and continued to go after Brightpaw. Now, she recalled that the two apprentices were the kits of Howlingwind, Thunderclan's deputy. Nightfeather lashed out at the calico she-cat, her amber eyes sparkling with mischief. "Looks like your brother isn't here to help you this time. How unfortunate, seeing as how he's the only reason you've gotten so far as an apprentice." She sneered, jumping back and digging her claws into the ground. "You've always got him to rely on. You never even have to fight your own battles, do you?" The she-cat mocked.
Hiddenleaf quickly jumped through the branches of the trees, jumping from tree to tree as she made her way towards the battle. She normally wasn't late, but the she-cat had gotten so caught up in her training that she had forgot she was supposed to go with the battle party. Upon reaching the area, she sighed as she realized that the clans had already started attacking each other. Most of the cats were already locked in battle, but Hiddenleaf saw some Shadowclan cats roaming around with no enemy to attack. It was apparent that Thunderclan was outnumbered, but they wouldn't lose if she could help it. With extreme skills, Hiddenleaf jumped out of the tree onto the ground in front of a scruffy-looking Shadowclan tom with long claws. "Greetings." The she-cat meowed, her face expressionless. "Although I should be attacking the enemy, I believe it is proper manners to introduce myself before battle." She said, dipping her head slightly. "My name is Hiddenleaf. Now, prepare to fight!" The black and white warrior finished with a yowl, and flung herself at the tom, gracefully slipping behind his back and aiming her claws at his rump.

Cricketpaw, unlike his Clanmates, had lashed his tail and hissed in frustration rather than excitement when Tigerstar gave the order to attack. Why would they go over on ShadowClan's terrain? Were weak insults really enough to provoke Tigerstar to make a decision that gave ShadowClan the advantage? It was a deadly terrible place for a battle- monsters whipped by, disturbing the senses of the fighting cats. ShadowClan wasn't used to fighting in the undergrowth. It would have been better to lure them over. It had been a waiting game, and ThunderClan had lost the first step. It didn't matter, he told himself. This was the battle, these were the circumstances; he would have to make the best of it. He charged after his Clanmates, claws outstretched, and was immediately surrounded by a shrieking, spitting whirlwind of rage. He was glad that Finchpaw wasn't here. His brother was an apprentice without a mentor, a grim reminder of how few warriors ThunderClan had at the moment; his training went around between all the warriors, but it wasn't consistent. Finchpaw wasn't bitter, but Cricketpaw thought that it was unfair. Why shouldn't his brother get the same opportunities? All the same, it was good- very good- that his brother had been left at camp. He never would have been able to handle the battle. One cat in particular stood out to Cricketpaw- a jet black ShadowClan warrior, apparently fighting nobody. That was the one to take on; one less for everyone else to think about. Fighting wasn't natural to Cricketpaw. He could plan a battle, he could predict his enemy's motions, but the quick savagery of the actual battle- he quite simply didn't like it. The scent of blood clogged his nostrils, and his flank already stung where some unknown enemy had clawed him before moving on. He pushed these things to the back of his mind; it wasn't the time to worry about how he felt- his Clan was outnumbered, things were going badly. They needed him. He launched himself at Rockettail, long legs stretched out in front of him, aiming at his opponent's face; if he could latch onto the ShadowClanner's ear, he could do a good deal of damage in a sensitive spot.

FERNTAIL. TIGERCLAW. BRIGHTPAW. FOXFANG .
Brightpaw backed into a corner hissing at the approching cat, 'I can protect myself just fine!' she hissed, though didn't lash out. 'My brother loves me, you'd protect your own family wouldn't you? Oh I forgot, you Shadowclanners are vile, and heartless, even your scent makes my heart cold!' she growled, jumped at Nightfeather, but missing, and rolled under the dark felines paws. Tigerclaw fell to the ground as his ear was caught by the quick warrior, his muscles rippled under his pelt as he saw Brightpaw in trouble, although it was a good idea, he pushed Appleleaf away from him, taking the top of his ear with him, he lost sight of what he was doing, as the blinding pain ran through his body, he jerked slightly, but stood up. He turned looking for Howlingwind, he saw him fighting with the shadowclan deputy and figured he better save his kit himself, Ferntail would surely follow him if he was to try help Brightpaw.
The tom ran forward, pouncing at Nightfeather, is balance was slightly off, as the pain still effect him, and his fighting was far from his usual accuracy. 'Leave her alone! he hissed, attempting to hold Nightfeather down, his muscles rippled through his thick pelt, as he tried to bite the she cats neck, but he got distracted as Brightpaw ran forward, and began to try slash at the she-cats face. 'Get out of here kit! You can't do this battle, you need more training.' he hissed, Brightpaw backed away, and ran off. Foxfang came forward and leaned to the apprentice, 'What is happening young one?' she purred softly in a comforting voice, as the scared apprentice told her what had happened, Foxfang nodded and told her to go, then hid in the bushes watching the fight.
Ferntail grunted as she fell to the ground, 'You and your clan, are rats! You are weak, you shall never win, your outnumbered, give up!' she smirked, getting up quickly, raising her left paw she aimed for his left cheekbone, 'And you.. you're a kittypet.' she spat. Her small size allowed her to run beneath the large tom, she came out on his right side, and tried to rake her class from just beneath his chest to his rear.

Rockettail
Rockettail flinched and jumped back when suddenly a black and white she-cat jumped out of a tree onto the ground in front of him. "Greetings." The other cat meowed with an expressionless face. "Huh? Rockettail meowed, caught off guard by the sudden polite-ish way of introducing ones self, and during a battle like this. "Umm...is that so." He meowed, not really knowing what to say, and dipping his head a little in response. But once the strange she-cat introduced herself and declared the beginning of the fight, Rockettail wasn't going to be caught off guard in real combat. Right, bring it on!" He yowled challengingly in response, a wide grin of thrill coming over his face. He spun around, nearly matching Hiddenleaf's grace with his own swift, agile movements, and met her claws with his own. At this rate, it appeared that the agile cats were almost evenly matched.
But suddenly, it seemed like the rest of Thunderclan had come in, and just like that, the tide of war shifted, and now the sides were evened! Rockettail's movement in order to meet Hiddenleaf's attack with the same speed and force had him avoiding the swipe of a young Thunderclan apprentice, but now it might be a bit more difficult handling Hiddenleaf and some tiny apprentice! "Dude, go find someone else to fight that's your own size!"' He yowled in irritation to the little ginger tom. Rockettail always liked to have battles all to himself. Of course, then the arrogant tom would brag endlessly about it, but it appeared that Rockettail had found a fighting partner that was giving him an exciting fight. There was not feelings of hatred, but of respect for each other as a warrior fighting for their own clan.
Appleleaf
Appleleaf hissed in frustration when the strong warrior shoved him away, and spat out the gob of blood, and flesh, in his mouth. "Not only do they smell bad, Thunderclan cats taste bad too!" He yowled in disgust, getting back up to go look for Tigerclaw. He saw Tigerclaw go after Nightfeather, but soon enough, the apprentice Nightfeather was fighting had ran from battle. At first it seemed like Shadowclan had Thunderclan outnumbered, but now, with all these reinforcements, the sides were evened out! Nightfeather was a good warrior, and he knew Tigerclaw was a young warrior since he had heard about how the tom had become a warrior at the last gathering. Nightfeather should be able to handle him. For now, Appleleaf decided he oughta help some of his clan-mates, and maybe by giving some of these pesky Thunderclan apprentices a beating, he could thin out the numbers by sending some of the young Thunderclan cats home.
He looked around and noticed that Rockettail and another she-cat were locked in a full out fight, but Rockettail was having it hard with the apprentice Cricketpaw trying to help out the other warrior. Rockettail was yowling for the apprentice to go away, and Appleleaf almost snorted in amusement. He ran over to them, and dived in, taking a swipe at Cricketpaw in an attempt to swat the apprentice away so that they could fight in their own space.
Howlingwind
"No more rats than the filthy lot of you Shadowclanners!! You WILL pay for what you have done!" Howlingwind hissed back, but flinched as the agile she-cat swiped at his face, leaving a painful scratch. He snarled in frustration, then hissed as the pain became real. Then he heard Ferntail spit. Shaking his head to ignore the pain in his face, he arched his back in an attempt to avoid the she-cat's sharp claws, and tried to turn and catch the smaller she-cat with his heavy paws. But her lightning fast movements had left him another painful scratch on his stomach. Luckily he had managed to avoid getting a very deep wound, but he knew that he had to somehow try to keep up with the agile she-cat. He couldn't let this fight drag on, or he would be the first to fall. "I am a warrior! Not a kittypet!" He spat back defiantly, aiming his paws for Ferntail in an attempt to catch her. If he could just keep her from moving, than this fight would be over.
Sandclaw
Sandclaw couldn't help but smirk a little, seeing as in seconds, she had send Patchsong limping desperately back to the Thunderclan camp with some very vicious wounds. Sandclaw's toes were wet with blood, and now she glanced around for an opponent to fight. Her eyes found Nightfeather, and she raced toward the other she-cat, seeing Tigerclaw trying to hold Nightfeather down and aim a vicious bite to her neck. Anger filled her eyes, and she leaped at Tigerclaw in an attempt to get him off Nightfeather, snarling furiously. "Rotten Thunderclan maggot! You will NOT kill any more Shadowclan warriors!" These cowardly murderers! the angry thoughts went through her mind.

Fine, then. If the ShadowClan cat didn't want to fight, he wasn't going to lose his pelt over it. He looked around, crouching low to the ground as he looked for a new target. There was no fire in him; it was just irritation at the uselessness of it all. This wasn't where he excelled. Nobody seemed to notice him, and that was perfectly fine with him. Was it really all that wrong, that he didn't want to fight these cats? He stayed low and crawled through the mass of writhing warriors, ears pinned against his head. He ducked and weaved through the battle, jaw set as he picked his way through. He wasn't fighting anymore. This was stupid. How did killing more warriors honor the fallen? If it weren't for this lifestyle, none of them would've died. Both Clans were at fault. Really, all four Clans were at fault. He emerged from the writhing mass with only a few minor scratches, right at the edge of the Thunderpath. And there, he froze. A little brown figure bounded across the treacherous stretch, so intent on joining the battle that he didn't notice the terrible growling of a monster coming swiftly towards him. "Finchpaw!" Cricketpaw screeched. The warning came too late; there was a sickening crunch as the monster made contact and kept running, leaving the apprentice lying motionless and silent in the middle of the road. The ginger apprentice shot out of the bushes, oblivious to any danger. Was Finchpaw alive? Nothing else mattered, nothing. Without Finchpaw, what did Cricketpaw have? There was no other cat in the forest that he loved, and he would not go on without his brother. Another monster came roaring down the Thunderpath; hunched over Finchpaw's motionless body, Cricketpaw stood and braced himself for the impact. He wouldn't leave his brother. But somehow, miraculously, the great beast swerved at the last moment, its tremendous scream in his ears, its vile stench in his nose- but it did not hit him. It somehow went around him- a miracle, but there was no time to reflect. Cricketpaw desperately grabbed hold of his brother's scruff and dragged him into the bushes on the ShadowClan side of the Thunderpath; the battle was so close by, but they wouldn't listen to a distant cry. The ginger apprentice licked his brother's forehead. "I'll come right back," he whispered, then ran towards the sound of fighting cats, screeching as loud as he could. "Help! Somebody, get a medicine cat, we need help!"
