Larkkit, Larkpaw, Larksing
Gender :: She-cat
Age :: 22 moons
Description :: A pretty little white she-cat with some black markings and grey eyes.
Alliance :: Windclan
Position :: Medicine cat--PHYSIQUE--
AppearanceLarksing is a pretty black and white she-cat. Most of her fur is white, but the top of her head is black fur instead of white. Her fur is very pretty and almost abnormally soft, as her grandmother was a kittypet. She's a bit on the smaller side, but not overly so. She has a rather long tail and legs, and moves very gracefully and elegantly. She is about as far away from clumsy as you can get, as she has very quick, skilled paws. Larksing's large eyes are a misty grey. They are quite innocent looking, and she can easily charm a cat with her gentle gaze. Her eyes seem to always betray her emotions, to Larksing's dismay. She has a lithe build, and very agile, so she is an extremely fast runner, even for Windclan. She can run for longer periods of time, and can outrun some of the fastest cats by a couple tail-lengths. She isn't the strongest of cats, but don't underestimate her. She can fight a bit, but not much, as she is a medicine cat, and is quite good at it. She carries herself with confidence, and gives off a generally friendly atmosphere, but sometimes she can be scary, if she's angry, stressed, or agitated.
AbilitiesLarksing is a very fast, agile cat, like all Windclan, though she has a bit more stamina and can run just a bit faster. She moves very gracefully and elegantly, and rarely takes a misstep. She has a clever, sharp mind, and can quickly analyze a situation, decipher things, and make up plans. She has an amazing imagination and is wildly creative. However, she is rather overprotective and can get quite feisty. A bit sensitive and emotional, Larksing's feelings can get hurt easily, and she is quite the dreamer, so sometimes her mind drifts off when it shouldn't. She is rather naive and gullible, and doesn't have the best sense of when danger is there.--PERSONALITY--
Likes :: Kits, rain, friends, birds, starry nights, plans, flowers.
Loves :: Cool weather, sunshine, running, green-leaf days, dreaming, sleeping, exploring.
Hates :: Hot weather, drama, show-offs, self-centered cats.
Fears :: Badgers, deep water, monsters(cars)
Flaws :: Head in the clouds, easily distracted, naive, gullible, overprotective, sensitive, emotionalLarksing is a generally kind she-cat with a good heart. She's kind, caring, and very helpful. She can be a bit feisty at times, and she's very overprotective. She's confident, sometimes over-confident, and very courageous. She loves adventures and exploring, and gets easily excited. Larksing likes to enjoy herself, and she is a big believer in making the most of what you have. She is very optimistic, always looking on the bright side, and is very cheery. She's rather conservative and tries her best not to waste food or herbs. She likes dreaming, but that causes her to often be day-dreaming about something, or getting in deep thought about something. She has a short attention span. She has a mild temper, unless she feels like she is threatened or one of her clan-mates. She can keep calm under emergencies, and is very quick-thinking. She has a sharp mind, and is very creative and intelligent. She loves planning things and deciphering things, and loves a good challenge. She's very adventurous, bold, and daring. Larksing is very passionate and rather free-spirited. She likes doing things her way most of the time, and isn't a fan of following instructions, though she will if she feels it is important(mostly she followed instructions from her mentor.) She is quite independent and can take care of herself.--HISTORY--
Kin :: She has no living kin. Her mother drowned(cause of her fear for deep water) and her father was killed by a monster while crossing the thunderpath(cause of her fear of monsters)
HistoryLarksing was the only kit born to two young warriors who were hopelessly in love. They cared for her with plenty of compassion, and she was very loved. As a kit, she did like exploring and going on adventures. She had a never-ending curiosity, and always wondered how things work. Always wondering, always questioning, always thinking. She had a very bight mind.
Her parents were so happy for her when she became a medicine cat apprentice. She had always been fascinated by the idea of being so important to the clan, having such a good connection with Starclan, and having so much experience and information. She was a fast learner, easily learning about all the herbs and had quite a good connection with Starclan. She was also good at figuring out prophecies. She liked her life, was enjoying herself, and working hard.
Then her mother died. She was chasing away some Riverclan trespassers during one newleaf day, when the water was higher because of the thaw. She slipped, fell into the river, and drowned. Her father was devastated, but tried his best to stay strong for Larksing(then Larkpaw.) Of course, Larkpaw was also very upset. She had had a strong relationship with her mother, and her loss was a difficult blow. But Larksing was strong, and she knew she couldn't let herself be weakened. She knew she had to stay strong, so she moved on after a moon or so. She continued working hard and doing all in her power to be the best she could be, and finally received her medicine cat name, Larksing.
However, two moons after Larkpaw became Larksing, her father went out on a hunting trip, just like every other hunting patrol he had been on. Her father was an excellent hunter, and he hunted more than he patrolled borders. Larksing hadn't worried about him, and had been busy sorting herbs when he was dragged into camp. He had been chasing a rabbit, a very large one, which had run a bit onto the thunderpath. He ran after it, and didn't see the monster that came hurtling towards him. He was carried back to camp, horribly injured, and Larksing did everything she could to try to cure him. She was frantic to save her father, as he was all she had left. Her mentor had died only one moon ago. Unfortunately, he passed away after three days, leaving Larksing with no kin. That was 8 moons ago. Now, Larksing has gotten over both her parents deaths, though she has been left with an overwhelming fear of deep water and monsters, and often wakes up and thinks about him, feeling an overwhelming sadness.

RP sampleThere was something about the rain that was just... wondrous. Not that hard pouring rain. The nice rain, the kind that doesn't pour down on you, but doesn't just drizzle. The cool rain hitting on the hot heather of the moor caused steam to rise up from the ground, and it was absolutely gorgeous. There was nothing better than being out in Windclan territory during the rain. Larksing's soft white and black fur was soaking wet, but she didn't care. She walked around alone, looking around at the scene. Most cats would see it as a bit frightening. But not Larksing. She was beauty in it. She also saw a rabbit. Lark bolted after the rabbit, who couldn't see or hear her very well because of the rain. The rabbit noticed her only a couple seconds before Larksing would have reached her. The rabbit ran off, hopping away as quickly as it could. But Larksing was much faster, and it took less than ten seconds for her to go soaring in the air and land right on the rabbit, who squeaked in terror before Larksing bit it's neck. The rabbit went limp, and Larksing picked it up. She hadn't come out here to go hunting, but oh well. She had really come out here to enjoy the rain and gather a few herbs. But she wouldn't say no to a good, plump rabbit. Her mouth was watering, and it took all her self control not to bite harder into it's soft, meaty flesh. She returned to where she had been earlier with all the herbs she had collected, picked up the herbs in her mouth along with the rabbit, with some difficulty, and began to walk back to camp, which was just a dot in the distance, feeling the rain come down on her and enjoying every moment of it.
