WINDCLAN NEWS

Newleaf is upon us, but prey is simply not running. All cats are skinny and weak with hunger. Runningkit(NPC), Greyheart and Ratstar's kit, has died of starvation. The elders have requested to hunt for themselves instead of being fed, but the request has been denied. WindClan recently lost a fight to ThunderClan after intruding on their land. Ratstar, Littleheart, Wildfire, and Swiftheart fought against Tigerstar, Howlingwind, and Kestrelclaw. Ratstar and Swiftheart escaped with minor injuries, but Littleheart suffered a bad blow to the head that caused a significant wound, and Wildfire was knocked unconscious for a few moments. Ratstar plans to ask Whitestar in RiverClan for help. |

October 9th, 2011 RiverClan has agreed to help WindClan. A patrol of Ratstar, Rainfrost, and Swiftheart went to ask Whitestar, who agreed without hesitation. We are growing strong again. All of the cats who fought ThunderClan are recovering. Higher-ups in WindClan are learning to fish. A few rabbits have been sighted, but there has been an order given to avoid hunting them so that their population can recover. Wildfire, Rainfrost, and Swiftheart stole prey from ShadowClan before RiverClan began sharing, and there was a confrontation at the Gathering about it. Ratstar apologized to both ThunderClan and ShadowClan about the prey-stealing, but ShadowClan didn't accept the apology, and tensions are high between the two Clans. We need apprentices! Greyheart and Ratstar's kits will be up for adoption soon, so it would be fantastic if people would adopt them so we can start building our numbers. |

November 26th, 2011 The rabbits have, for the most part, returned to the moors. Warriors are urged to be cautious, but they are permitted to hunt them again. Ratstar has told his warriors to stop hunting on RiverClan's land out of respect for the favor they were given; they can support themselves now. ShadowClan attacked WindClan despite Ratstar's attempt to apologize for the prey theft. RiverClan helped them defeat ShadowClan. Littleheart took one of Whirlstar's lives, and Greyheart killed the ShadowClan warrior Thornclaw. Sandkit, Dusk-kit, Smallkit, and Silverkit are being made apprentices, and Maplepaw is being made a warrior. Ratstar was badly injured in the battle with ShadowClan, so Rainfrost has taken on temporary leadership of WindClan. I am currently on hiatus, but doing my best to keep everything up to date. |

April 20th, 2012 Ratstar goes out for a walk and is attacked by some dogs, losing all 8 of his lives from a terrible injury that could not be healed. Rainfrost, struck with the terrible grief of yet another death and not being ready for clan leadership, wanders off for a couple days and doesn't ever return. Windclan waits for the she-cat to return, and Russetstorm starts to help take charge of things. The clan was struck with grief from the recent death of Ratstar, and when their deputy never returned it hurt the clan even more. Russetstorm is asked to take over the role of clan leader, and accepts for the sake of the clan life. He travels to the moonstone and receives his 9 lives, becoming Russetstar, and announces Littleheart as deputy. I have taken over Windclan with Russetstar. I hope to keep things updated and hope to help Windclan thrive. The deaths of Rainfrost and Ratstar were rather sudden, and if you need to know anything just message me or Mutant. Windclan needs all the cats we can get, and it would be awesome to get some more apprentices and kits. Don't hesitate to make that apprentice you've always dreamed of~ |
