Well, this was just wonderful.
Absolutely, freaking, wonderful.
Soaring Eagle paced on a tree branch in his limited space, claws relentlessly tearing at the bark beneath his pads.
Oh Falling Snow, why!
Yes. The great Soaring Eagle, whose namesake came from a bird that went on cliffs and giant trees, was stuck. In a tree.
All because of a fur brained squirrel and a moment where he lost his temper.
The large tom had been out for a walk, for lack of a better thing to do, and on his way spotted a squirrel in a tree. Obviously not food, because everycat knew it was mouse-brained to try and catch a tree'd squirrel. But this was no ordinary squirrel, no. It was a brave squirrel, who decided to throw nuts down at the long furred tom. The first couple were okay, easily ignored, and the tom had walked off. But when the furry thing even followed him in the trees, with that incessant chattering noise...
Well, he lost it. So here he was. Tree'd, by a squirrel. Great.

Little paw steps moved swiftly, yet quietly out of the nursery. Thriving Ivory wanted some fun. She was just about six moons ago and soon she would get a mentor which was very exciting. She hoped Raising Sun would give he a great mentor like Vanishing Ghost for his uniqueness or Soaring Eagle because he was always very kind to her and she is generally a kind cat.
"Hmmm. I wonder where Soaring eagle is." She though looking around the quiet camp. She knew she wasn't supposed to leave camp alone but she wanted to find Eagle. She would turn it into a game. She purred at the though as she trotted out of camp and into the unknown.
The small white ball of fur blended well into her surrounding like all the Cat of Purity did well. Her blue eyes scanned the around but still no sight of Soaring Eagle. She scented the air. His scent is coming from above me? She though with confusion as she looked up at the tree and saw the big, white tom high up in the tree. "What are you doing up there?" She meowed.

Fading Moon was within the forest, some few miles away from where Soaring Eagle was stuck in a tree. The beautiful, splendor and lithe pure white she-cat, fully blossoming with youth, with beautiful, alluring eyes to match her seductive swagger, was making her way through the forest in the Cats of Purity's territory, in a short hunt for prey. Walking calmly along, while every once in a while pausing to sniff for prey scent, she kept her pointed ears perked and alert for any signs of other activity. As a white hunter, in a forest of green and brown, the odds were against her, and she knew well that she needed to be on her guard at all times. Fading Moon paused then, her ears pricked with alertness, and her nose pointed straight in the air. She had picked up a scent, but not that of prey, but of something, or someone, familiar. Who could it be? It couldn't be a cat of another clan or allegiance than the Cats of Purity, because there were no scent markers anywhere, or any other signs of foreign activity, so it must have been another Cat of Purity like herself. The tip of Fading Moon's tail wagged and she began to eagerly follow the scent's direction.
After what seemed like hours, although it was only probably a few dozen minutes to the curious she-cat, Fading Moon finally noticed that the scent was fresher, and a few dozen more minutes passed by before she came near a tree, and pacing back and forth along a branch, was Soaring Eagle. Her ears perked and she twitched her whiskers, realizing what was going on. No wonder the scent was familiar. Not only that, Thriving Ivory was here. Smirking mischievously, she looked up at the purifier, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "What have we here, Soaring Eagle? As far as I should know, everything that goes up always goes down!"

((Pssssttt. Rising Sun is leader, not Eagle x3;))
Eagle finally ceased his pacing and sat down upon his branch, staring longingly at the solid ground. A strong gust of wind easily shook this branch, but the ground was safe and stable. In his gazing of the ground below, his blue eyes wandered across a small tuft of white fur. Much to small to be a full grown cat, or even a young learner. As the puff grew larger, he was easily able to recognize her. And so, he answered her question with his own. "And what are you doing out of camp? You could get hurt out here." he mewed, not angrily but in a somewhat fatherly tone, as if reprimanding a daughter. "You know you aren't supposed to leave camp!" he mewed again, wondering why no cat had been watching her. Gah, what terrible timing. And oh, looky there, here comes another cat. Fading Moon, as he recognized once she came closer and spoke top him. "And I will come down... I was hunting and.. decided to take a break." he mewed, looking away and pawing at his branch. How could she know he was stuck? She couldn't, and that's that. And so he made a point of laying down and elegantly curling his tail about him. "I am perfectly fine." if only he had thought of this a minutes ago, instead of stuttering out an excuse. Normally he was a better liar then that...

Ivory's blue eyes glowed with amusement. "I don't think they were paying attention so I just walked out....I wanted to find you." She purred playfully with a honest tone. Most of the other cats could care less about a helpless kit, but Eagle always seemed to care about her ever since she could remember. She though of him as her father since she never had one or a mother. You could say she just appeared one day, but Cats of Purity was the only life she knew. They were her family.
She pounced happily up to the lower part of the tree trunk looking up. "Ohhhh what a fun, Eagle! I want to play too!" She squeaked excitedly as she tried to make her way up the trunk, but fell down. she frown looking up at the tom. "We should play don here. I can't get up there..." She turned toward Fading Moon. "Shouldn't Eagle play with me down here. Oh and you can play with us too!" She meowed.

Fading Moon laughed, her deep blue eyes glowing with sarcastic amusement. "I'm sure you could get down if you came the way you got up." She meowed playfully. Glancing at Thriving Ivory, she purred mischievously. "The Soaring Eagle would love to play with you, that is, if he could get down from the tree." As the Healer's learner, how could she resist a chance to tease one of the senior purifiers? Even if Soaring Eagle got mad at her, he couldn't hurt her because not only was she also a blue-eyed she-cat, the purest of the pure, she was the Healer's learner. Ahh the advantages of being the one no one is allowed to hurt!
Returning her mocking gaze to Soaring Eagle, she meowed tauntingly. "Well, Soaring Eagle, why don't you soar on down here and play with us? You can't keep a youthful innocent waiting, now can't you? Come down here, it's not hard at all!"

"Well, you know you aren't supposed to do that. Maybe Moon can help you get back home. I uh... and going to try and... find the squirrel's nest and catch it, and I don't want you wandering off and getting hurt." Eagle mewed, scratching for a good excuse. His ear twitched though with a hint of irritation at Fading Moon's prodding. "Oh, I'll soar down there alright... right on top of your head..." he grumbled, fading off as the sentence ended. Moon might of heard it, but he didn't care. Instead, he sniffed the bark and the tree branch above him, acting like he was going to track that squirrel. At least until those two left and he could try and get down...

Thriving Ivory wanted to stay with Eagle, but she couldn't understand why he didn't want her there with him. She frowned looking at Moon. "Eagle, doesn't want me anymore." She meowed softly to the Healer Apprentice in a sad tone. Then she looked back up at Eagle. Her blue eyes clouded. "I hope your happy there with the squirrels..." she meowed up at the big Tom stuck in the tree.

Fading Moon laughed sadistically, but still teasingly at Soaring Eagle's empty threat. Fading Moon walked up beside Thriving Ivory and touched the white kitten's shoulder with her tail tip. "That's not true. I'm sure Soaring Eagle would love to come down and play with you!" She glanced mischievously at Soaring Eagle out of the corner of her eye as she continued in a dark voice. "Surely the great Soaring Eagle wouldn't let down an innocent!"
No, this wasn't for revenge, or ambition. How could she resist such an opportunity to tease a senior Purifier? Fading Moon smiled evilly, as she thoroughly enjoyed torturing the the white tom.

Soaring Eagle grumbled incoherently, kneading the tree branch with his claws. That furball... I'll get her for this... he thought, sending a glare at Fading Moon. Bah, this was terrible! Stuck up in a tree with not only Ivory watching, but Moon- that damn Healer apprentice. Rat tails, she didn't even have green eyes! "Oh shut it." he grumbled at the Healer. "Fine. If you kits want me to come down so bad, I guess I should. It is my job to keep kits safe, after all." he mewed, the last bit almost to himself though. Yes, he was calling Moon a kit. No, it wasn't exactly a brilliant come back. Obviously he didn't much care, though.
Eagle stared at the ground, and then the tree, trying to find the best way to maneuver down. It didn't look at that appealing anyway he looked at it... but there was some branches he could jump to in order to get partly down. And he he leaped carefully from branch to branch until the branches stopped and all that was left was smooth tree trunk. Cursing in his mind, he turned and bean trying to wiggle down the tree trunk backwards. But, as expected, this part of the trip didn't turn out as planned, and he fell unceremoniously down the last ten or so feet into a very unforgiving patch of brambles. His thick fur protected him from getting scratched very much, but he looked like a mess. "Gah, this'll take forever to get out of my fur!" he growled to himself as he tore a few brambles out of his chest fur.

Ivory's blue eyes grew with fear when she saw Eagle fall from the tree. She was mad that he didn't want to come down from the tree before, but she didn't want him hurt. She hurried over to his side. "Oh. My. Gosh! Soaring Eagle, are you OK?" She meowed with worry looking down at his pelt covered in brambles. Poor Eagle.
"Would you like some help getting them out of your pelt?" She meowed softly. She was feeling bad that Fading Moon was using her against him. Then she whispered so only he could hear. "I'm very sorry, Eagle. I shouldn't have let her do that too you." The little innocent was honestly sorry. She had grown very close with Eagle and she didn't like to see him hurt.
She turned to Fading Moon, her blue eyes narrowed slightly. Being a blue-eyed cat herself, she was of equal rank as the Medicine cat apprentice. "That wasn't very nice, Moon. I think you should say sorry. My Eagle could have been hurt." She meowed calmly looking at the white she-cat.

Fading Moon watched, a smirk all over her face, one of victory. "That's right. You better hurry, the kits are waiting!" She meowed, knowing that his weak come back wasn't even effective in this situation where she was winning. She had taunted Soaring Eagle into coming down, and her evil tactics had been worth it. Now the finale. To laugh as Soaring Eagle fell like an eagle with only one wing. "What's taking you so long? Can't the Eagle figure out how to climb down?" She continued to taunt cruelly. And as expected, after a bit of a struggle, Soaring Eagle fell unceremoniously down the final ten feet, landing in a very painful looking patch of brambles.
Fading Moon fell on the ground, laughing her head off. "Hahahahaha!! You should have been named Falling Eagle!! You should just see the look on your face!! It totally matches the new style of your fur!" She panted, for a moment, but then burst into laughing again. "Or maybe Rising Sun should rename you Falling Brambles!!" After she could finally catch her breath, she looked over at Thriving Ivory and shrugged. "Don't worry, he's fine! Just don't get too close or you'll get pricked!" She meowed heartlessly, flicking her tail in Soaring Eagle's direction. Best part about being the Healer learner was that no one was allowed to hurt her. And she could pretty much say whatever she wanted.

Eagle grumbled to himself, yanking out a mouthful of brambles, fur puffed out and hot with embarrassment. "I'm fine." he grumbled, not paying much attention to either of them. "You're just lucky you weaseled out of being a real Purifier..." he growled mostly to himself, referencing her blue eyes and the fact most Healers were supposed to have green ones. "...'else I might of clawed her..." His ear flicked in the direction of Ivy as she mewed at Moon. Ivy would grow up to be a good cat, he knew. He was impressed at her maturity for her age, but his irritation at Moon overshadowed the thought because... well, a kit just had to try and stand up for him. Eagle shook his pelt roughly, having got the worst of the mess out, and glared at the Healer learner. Wonder if her mouth would be that big if I really was in a position to claw her a bit... he thought idly. Probably not. "At least I am trying to be useful, herb breath and trying to get food. What are you doing wandering around, don't you have something better to do?"

Thriving Ivory laughed lightly at Eagle's comment about Moon's herbs."I bet the herbs taste really bad, like crow-food." Ivory purred to Eagle. She couldn't wait to be made an apprentice, hopeful Raising Sun would give her someone amazing like Eagle or Ghost. She licked Eagle's head. "Just think in less than an moon's time, I'll be made an apprentice. Then I can leave the camp without being yelled at."
Her blue eye's looked at Eagle's pelt. It looked painful and she didn't like the face he made trying to get the bramble out."Soaring Eagle is doing the best he can, so step off, Moon." She smiled at Eagle, then looked over at Fading Moon. Her smile faded slightly. "I think she's slightly jealous of you." She whispered lightly in Eagle's ear.
