Russetstar watched as Littleheart led the group of Riverclan cats out of the camp. He sat still, his tail tip twitching in nervousness, until the group was out of site. He then stood up, shaking out his fur and giving his shoulder a nervous lick. What would the rest of the clan think of his generosity towards Riverclan? He hoped that most of them would agree with his choice. After all, they had owed Riverclan a favor after they shared their prey with them in their time of need. He began to trot towards Tallrock and jumped on top of it, standing tall as the wind blew at his fur. He noticed as he looked around the camp that most of the clan were already out of their dens, but he decided to call out anyways. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey join beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!" He yowled, sitting down on his haunches. He waited as the clan gathered around, his eyes glowing with happiness. It felt amazing to call the clan, and even though he had done it before it always made him shiver. It reminded him of all of the previous Windclan leaders that had done the same thing. He began to wait until everyone was gathered before he said anything.

Swiftheart watched Littleheart leave with the group, her ears pricked nervously, even though she knew that they were doing the right thing by allowing Riverclan safety from the flood. She was very grateful toward Whitestar for allowing them to hunt on Riverclan's territory during the famine a few seasons ago, and now they were returning the favor. Her head flicked the other way, watching Russetstar trot over to the Tallrock and leap up onto it, and call a clan meeting. With a sigh, trying to ease away her uneasiness, she turned and trotted over and sat down below the Tallrock. She only hoped that the clan would be safe and in peace, and Riverclan could be able to return to their territory safely.
Maplesong was out of her den by now, and knew immediately that something important had just happened. She wanted to know right away, but knew better than to start bothering others for details when Russetstar was about to tell them all what was going on. Maplesong stretched and yawned, then went over to join the crowd.

WindClan seemed to be assembling; he went over and sat by Swiftheart, touching his tail to her shoulder in greeting. "Everything's going well," he told her. Having known the she-cat for some time, he could feel the anxiety coming off of her- and with good reason. There was nothing comfortable about leading an entire enemy Clan into the heart of their territory, and that was why he wanted to talk to Russetstar. They were allies now, but things could change in the future- if RiverClan and WindClan were to fight, RiverClan would have an advantage, being so knowledgable of WindClan territory and prey. He had an idea, though, and it would hopefully put the warriors at ease. As deputy, it was his duty to make sure his Clan was comfortable- and he took that duty very seriously. He settled down and looked up at Russetstar. He'd talk to his leader after he addressed the Clan; it would be rude to interrupt. If his leader asked him any questions, he was prepared to answer. He was confident about how he had handled the RiverClan situation; when it came to these sorts of things, Littleheart was self-assured and prepared to act. Running his Clan came naturally to him, but the dedication and passion that he had to WindClan was beginning to gradually fade, replaced by a unconditional love for the mate that he couldn't tell any cat about. "Did they leave already?" Foxpaw yawned, coming up beside his mentor, Maplesong. To be honest, he had been napping for most of the time RiverClan was in WindClan territory to ask for help. Now he wished he hadn't, as there were undoubtedly plenty of pretty she-cat apprentices from the other clan. Oh, well. If they were staying on WindClan territory for a while, he could always visit to make sure things were going fine.
"I bet this meeting is about RiverClan, huh?" the ginger and white tom mewed, deciding to use this free time to groom his pelt, pink tongue swiping over his ruffled chest fur. His coat was his joy and pride, and he loved spending time on it to make it gleam. He glanced over to his mentor, teal eyes bright. "Will we have to keep tabs on RiverClan?" The apprentice was almost bouncing in spot excitedly, thinking about how cool it would be to be on a patrol to see RiverClan and, hopefully, make some new friends!

The ginger leader sat for a while as his clan came out of their dens, his expression patient as some slowly made their way out. He was known for being a patient cat, a good thing that leaders should have. Of course, not all had the same patience as he did. A smile crossed his face as the last of the clan settled into the clearing. The only one that was missing was Littleheart, but he was taking the Riverclan cats to their temporary home. He drew a small sigh before standing up once again, looking over his clan with pride. He took a couple steps forward, his tail twitching nervously. Littleheart slipped into the camp and joined the others, and the leader felt more courage flow through him at the sight of his deputy. Clearing his throat, he spoke. "As many of you may know, Riverclan is in a time of need. Their camp has been flooded by the river, and is to the point where being in their own territory isn't safe for them to live in. In desperation, Whitestar came to ask Windclan for help." He yowled, standing tall. "Being the closest to them, and the only non-hostile clan towards Riverclan at the moment, Whitestar has asked us for a temporary place to stay until the river goes back to normal." Hushed murmurs spread around the camp, and Russetstar's eyes darted worriedly around the clearing as strange looks were shot at him. "We know how hostile Thunderclan and Shadowclan have been lately, and after some thought I have decided to let Riverclan stay on Windclan's territory until they are able to live in their camp again." He meowed. Before any angry outbreaks could occur, he hurried and moved onto his next sentence. "Now, Windclan has been grateful since several moons ago when Riverclan let us hunt on their territory during our time of need. I believe that Windclan owe Whitestar and her warriors a favor for helping us during our prey shortage. Not to say that we were in her debt, but Riverclan need help. Without help, they have nowhere else to go. Starclan created this forest for four clans, and I will not stand around and watch as another clan dies in front of our eyes." He concluded strongly, and looked down at Littleheart. From him being back so soon, Riverclan must have settled into their temporary home more quickly than he thought. "I have granted Riverclan a place to stay on our territory. They will be living at the old badger set. Queens and kits may have to move into the camp if necessary, and Riverclan's medicine cats may come into camp along with any sick or injured." Worried glances were swept around the camp, and Russetstar looked at his clan with a worried gaze. "I know it will be very uncomfortable to have an enemy clan on our territory and in our camp, but you must be patient and trust me. As Windclan's leader, I promise to keep everyone safe. That is all for now. If anyone has any questions, please come ask me or Littleheart." He finished with a worried smile, and with a burst of strength launched himself off of the Tallrock into the clearing. Russetstar's paws led him straight to Littleheart, and he approached his deputy with a small smile. Swiftheart was sitting next to the small tom, but the leader did not mind if she listened in on their conversation. He trusted her a lot, and it was just as much of her business as anyone else's. This was her clan too. The tabby tom stopped in front of Littleheart and looked at him closely, his tail still twitching nervously. This was the first big decision he had made as a leader, and he hoped that he hadn't begun to lead Windclan to bad fate. "I take it that Riverclan have settled into the badger set?" He asked the deputy, still glancing around with worried eyes.

Swiftheart sat quietly near the front of the gathered Clan beside her mate, Ashfeather. To her surprise, Littleheart got back from dropping off Riverclan at the abandoned badger set very promptly, and came and sat beside her on her other side. She smiled and dipped her head in greeting to her old mentor and her deputy. "That's good." she purred in reply. It still was a bit worrying, the fact that a rival clan was allowed to live on their territory. She knew that it was sort of Windclan's duty to help Riverclan, but even so, now, Windclan was putting great trust in Riverclan...Everyone probably felt the same way, especially her, who wished more than nearly anyone else in Windclan that things didn't turn out this way during this season. She just hoped that soon, the rivers would go back to normal, and Riverclan could go home.
Maplesong gently flicked her apprentice Foxpaw's shoulder in greeting as the ginger and white tom came over. "What do you mean?" But then, noticing the obvious presence of Riverclan scent, she quickly continued, to hide her humility. "Oh, you mean the Riverclan cats." She paused for a moment, then looked back at Foxpaw. "Let's just wait and see what Russetstar's going to say. I'm sure it's obviously going to be about Riverclan." Maplesong concluded. Her tail, or, the stump that would be a tail, twitched slightly at Foxpaw's frantic attempts at grooming his coat. "Stop your fussing. You look just fine." she scolded gently, rolling her eyes. "Like I said, be patient and Russetstar will tell us what to do." Maplesong replied.
Maplesong even was a bit shocked at the news Russetstar gave. "What? Riverclan's living in Windclan's territory? Is that even allowed in the Warrior Code?" Maplesong called out, before thinking, as usual. She probably would have received a few angry glares from others then, even a hiss of annoyance, but she wasn't one to care either. On the other paw, Swiftheart nodded, understanding the debt Windclan owed to Riverclan, and the duty to a Clan to another Clan in need. Still, the worry showed deep in her eyes. When Russetstar mentioned about if anyone had questions, it reminded Swiftheart again of something important she had to do. Gazing affectionately at Ashfeather, she leaned toward him. "...I need to talk to you." she whispered in his ear, then licked his cheek, and after dipping her head respectfully to Russetstar, she turned to go back to the warrior's den, hoping Ashfeather was following.
